A former top CNN executive who accused U.S. troops in Iraq of attempting to murder reporters will produce a Republican debate to be hosted by Donald Trump. As Michelle Malkin noted, a press release touted the "prestigious" and "top notch" job Eason Jordan will do.
The debate is being sponsored by the Ion network and the conservative Newsmax magazine. In November of 2004, Jordon said this about the American military: "Actions speak louder than words. The reality is that at least 10 journalists have been killed by the US military, and according to reports I believe to be true journalists have been arrested and tortured by U.S. forces." These egregious comments resulted in him resigning in February of '05.
Jordan, in his role at CNN, skipped the horrors perpetrated by Saddam Hussein in order to keep the network's bureaus open.
Says a lot about Trump that he’d get in bed with Eason Jordan.
This is a debate which all honorable GOP candidates should boycott.
Why support Trump trying to make himself important again at the expense of the GOP and the good of the Nation???

Thanks for posting this. I agree that the candidates should boycott this debate and they should state that it is because of the involvement of the disgraceful Eason Jordan. Newsmax should be embarrassed.
Yup. All the candidates should boycott. I don’t know what gives. It seems all the debates so far have been controlled by libs. Why can’t Republicans host a debate?
I suspect in the strongest measure that Mister Trump is a clandestine Obama operative.

It says more about Newsmax they hired trump and Jordon. The whole darn washington pig pen is never ever cleaned. big spending Denny hastert, Tom Delay etc etc fueling the needs of government that never gets smaller.
While, I have no doubt that the incredible people who make up the US Military would put their very lives in danger in order to protect those scum sucking "journalists" like Eason Jordan who defame the troops in order to work up enemy anger against them, since we all know there's nothing more than these ba$**rd reporters LOVE than reporting US military deaths.
I know in my heart that the US didn't do the things that a$$hat accused them of... They're too professional. But I would have no problems with our enemies torturing and sawing the heads off a bunch of these so called "journalists."
As far as I'm concerned, as single US soldier or marine getting a splinter in their pinkie finger is too great a loss to keep that soldier from keeping 1000 "journalists" from torture and death.

However, Trump is supporting the same cause.
Should read other threads how they trash these two for not wanting to be part of an infomercial (my word).

As we all know, Donald has been a liberal most of his life till it was convenient for him to be a Republican. Notice I didn't write conservative.
