So, his last name is 'Sayer?'
Given this boycott, by people who knowingly use perverted and twisted, sick interpretations of Holy Scripture to justify their perversion, I will galdly give 2 and 3 times as much this year to the Salvation Army whenever and wherever I see them.
Sure that makes sense don’t help poor people this year because the sexual kooks are offended by the charity supporting marriage.
And I use “kooks” advisedly because even IF you accept gays as genetic or something, these groups embrace transvestites and transexuals, which certainly are the subject of disorders. Oh, and why does anyone “have to” be bisexual? It’s really the anything goes group.
So hopefully they'll boycott stores with Salvation Army donation workers there? That'll work, just like their "boycott" of Chik-Fil-A. Around here, based on the volume of customers, Chik-Fil-A isn't missing the homos a bit. They've become a far more family-friendly place to relax and have a meal.
Does anyone care what these fools think?
My contribution just increased as well! I bet we could get at least 100 freepers on this thread saying the same thing.
Yup I will give too.
Yep - I’ll be doubling the usual amount as well.
My father, who didn’t trust charities, had loads of praise for the Salvation Army. When Dad was stationed in Europe and North Africa during World War II, the Salvation Army was there. Those good people were invaluable to the young men serving so far from home.
Dad is gone now, but when I see a kettle, I think of him. Giving a donation is my way to honor Dad’s memory.
“...deny LGBT people services unless they renounce their sexuality...”
Somehow I just don’t believe that.
Well I know what to do now.
The LBGTWhatever crowd, always laboring under the delusion that they represent more than 2% of the population, don’t even realize what a nice Christmas present they have given Salvation Army.
Well affirmation of traditional marriage and other Biblical viewpoints are all we have since we are denied our freedom of speech against evil.
Using their logic, I shouldn’t donate to any LGBwhatever charities because they don’t include straight people, dwarf Asians, or the deaf.
I have often bought a Mother’s Day gift for my mother and included a donation to “The Women’s Lunch Place.” It’s just a little extra something for someone, and I never thought, “Oh, they discriminate,” though obviously they do.
I have had to deal with this community in my work, and they are the angriest, most ignorant folks I have to deal with.
My United Way contributions at work are directed 100% to the Salvation Army.
When I was assigned to recruiting duty, I was put up, temporarily, with the Salvation Army. When base quarters became available, I moved out. A year and a half later, in Viet Nam, I got the traditional [as oppposed to LGBT variety] fruitcake for Christmas from Sally. Been donating ever since. Now I have TWO reasons to give them money!
CPT ARMOR
MACV 1971
The Salvation Army is the only organization I donate to because it’s the only one I trust. All the others are a scam and most of the money gets gobbled up in administrative costs.
My wife questions me when I give a buck going in and another coming out to the person standing there in the pouring rain ringing his bell outside of Walmart.
I usually bring a big chunk of change to the grocery store when I shop, where the SA has a kettle during the Christmas season. They’re always very nice.
Hey Bill, show me the Bible verse that says queers can marry other queers. It ain't there. I'll donate more than I usually do.
