I don’t see much sense in bashing and trashing and nitpicking or acting petulant, but that’s just me.

I don't recall specifics, but unless I have confused you with somebody else, you have done your fair share of insulting people the past several weeks.

Well put, as usual FM.

We’re stuck with the sucky hand we’ve had dealt to us from a sh**y deck of cards.

Thanks. I can see how that line of thinking might affect Coburn.

However, I’m reminded of the email that floats around once in a while listing the differences between three men:

Politician a: associates with crooked politicians, and consults with astrologists. had two mistresses. he also chain smokes and drinks 8 to 10 martinis a day.

Politician b: kicked out of office twice, rises from bed at 11am, used opium in college and drinks champagne, brandy, and whiskey to excess every day.

Politician c: a decorated war hero. vegetarian, doesn’t smoke or drink, and hasn’t had any extramarital affairs.

I’m not looking for a husband. What I want is someone who will take the country in the right direction and has the guts and smarts to get us out of the mess we’re in.

Are you really that dense? Electoral politics has everything to do with STATES.........not individuals. There’s really only a couple of states in play, and Alaska isn’t one of them.

The real election is in Primary.........whether or not we get an Establishment RINO or a Real Conservative. So far, it looks like we’ll be stuck with an Establishment RINO because too many so-called Conservatives let the MSM propaganda sway them.

Our only hope is that Sarah or another conservative runs independent or third party, because a RINO is going to get the GOP nomination. In an election choice between Palin and Tweedldee and Tweedldum, Palin will win easily. Tweedldee will finish third because he has no constituency outside the Beltway, and all the takers will vote for Tweedldum.

Newt is a very smart man, he just didn’t make an endorsement, he got out and pushed it calling others that questioned it as being on the wrong side.

Yep..that statement puts it all in perspective Aria. Of course why I support Newt. I hear people saying it's how can talks etc. but the fact is he has a record which is impressive and shows results for conservatives.....I have no doubt he's the man for the job...and there's little people can say about Newt which hasn't already been said and done with.....but we can be certain it'll all be splashed out there all over again.

And if his supporters are like you why would I want to be associated with him?

Most forms of oral or estrogen/progesterone birth control work by preventing ovulation, so there’s no oocyte to fertilize in the first place. They also act sort of like barrier methods in that they make the cervical mucus thick, so the sperm has a harder time getting into the uterus and on up to the fallopian tube, etc.

The arguments have been whether or not these make the uterine lining too thin for implantation. As I said, we had some elegant studies in the last 10-15 years showing that the effect of the corpus luteum overwhelms the effects of the birth control pill, patch, etc., if there’s ovulation.

After ovulation, the follicle (bubble or cyst) that contained the oocyte becomes the corpus luteum, a powerful hormone production site. These endogenous or natural hormones overwhelm the effects of the tiny amounts of the birth control pills, patches.

Some of the OCP’s and EllaOne definitely have post-ovulatory effects, however. The mini-pills slow the movement of the new embryo down the fallopian tube, increasing the risk of tubal pregnancy. EllaOne delays the progesterone surge and may interfere with the normal development of the placenta and “burrowing” at implantation.

I am sure Newt is worried about your support.

I am sure he isn’t, but he needs to be worried about what supporters like you can do to him.

Thank you. I have already recruited several votes for him and plan to recruit more. You would be amazed at the friends I have getting onboard with Newt.

The most doubtful part of your whole statement is that you have friends. As far as your recruits for Newt they will only stay loyal as long as you keep the beer and cigarette money coming.

The Republican Party doesn’t do a damn thing until the candidate is selected. ....The pundits supposedly on our side are worthless too, or even worse than worthless because they’re really not much different from lamestream journalists. Each one seemingly writes to impress his peers.

Your right on about that Onyx....and it's getting harder for that not to be obvious because the people are more informed today than ever before. I think Americans are just plain fed up and willing to do at least a minimal amount of homework on these canidates themselves...Newt said more than once he "trusts" the american people to decide what to think about each candidate and make their decision.

Yep...did that..just gave to Newt’s campaign today..great to be on board officially!

I really liked what Newt said in your link..as follows:

“....The night of the election the Economic Recovery will begin when the country realizes that Barak Obama is going back to Chicago and the Republicans have gained control of the Senate.

Literally....THAT EVENING....’investment decisions’...’job creation decisions’......’company launching decisions’.....will be changing in light of what is going on.”
