Robert Gibbs, former White House Press Secretary and a top campaign adviser to President Obama, argued Sunday that Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney hasn't "caught fire" with GOP voters because "he will say virtually anything to get elected."
"He's a political gymnast of the highest order," Gibbs said during an appearance on CBS' "Face the Nation." "He will say virtually anything to get elected to any office."
"If you don't like where Mitt Romney is today, just wait until tomorrow," Gibbs added. "It's a little bit like the weather."
A new poll by the Des Moines Register puts Romney in just third place among likely Iowa Republican voters - behind former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and longtime Texas congressman Ron Paul.

Sadly, my next door neighbors (who are LDS) will be voting for Romney for this same reason. They think it luadable that he hasn’t backed away from his position on RomneyCare.
What makes this especially sickning; these are the same type of people who bi*ch about people not voting for Romney BECASE HE’S LDS.

Had to laugh out loud today when I heard Axelrod say that Romney’s people erased hard drives when they left the Massachusetts government. He actually said that it was like he had no past. What a hypocrite, Obama is the one that went around sealing all of his records.
Get ready to hear this a lot. The Republican Party has decided to stab Newt in the back Julius Caesar style and we will be left with Mitt as the candidate. Once he is in, you will be hearing this until next November.
Whatever. Hussein is a commie all the way. Voting for Hussein is a vote for an Alinsky disciple who hates America. No one has shown me any evidence Romney hates America.

Romney is the one candidate who actually practices what what Conservatives and Christians preach — personal responsibility.
I saw Gibbs this morning on Face the Nation. He was asked about Obama, and he responded with this Romney statement. I hate Romney’s guts but this “answer” was bizarre. They don’t want to talk about zero.
I'm not going to defend a RINO like Romney either.
