OKLAHOMA CITY -- As expected, GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain has officially dropped out of the race for the Republican nomination as a growing cloud of doubt and suspicion hung over him in the wake of numerous allegations of sexual impropriety.
But despite his decision to drop out, he is still planning to appear at the previously scheduled "Victory 2012" rally on Monday evening at the Oklahoma City Marriott, according to Oklahoma Republican Party Chairman Matt Pinnell.
Pinnell said, in an email to Red Dirt Report: "While not a presidential candidate, Herman Cain is still committed to helping make Barack Obama a one-term president, and we are thrill that he will still be joining us as our guest speaker Monday night."

I am now strongly leaning towards telling the Republican party they can cram their choice where the sun don’t shine.
Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats.

People need to show up in large numbers at this rally and have signs and buttons. Be loud. Let the liberal smear machine know that you are standing up totheir vicious lies and their destruction of a man (whom they mostly regard as something less.)
There is no evidence to support that. He was brought down by the racist liberal hate machine, which feeds on the personal destruction of its political opponents (like the good little totalitarians that they are.)
Doesn’t the Bible also teach about men being struck down for sins of power and deceit?
I am surprised that “real christains” here havaen’t recognized these sins of Newt yet.
Their posts on Herman Cain were cruel, mean and uncalled for on these threads.
However, now that they want to court the supporters of the single percentage candidates the tables have turned.
I don’t know who the Newt supporters are.
They have been cruel and relentless.
Now they want Newt to be the candidate. A RINO. And conservatives are not convince by a long shot that Newt is The Man. Lots of snarky posts that anyone that doesn't support Newt is crazy, uniformed, an Obama troll, and worse.
The Primaries haven't even begun and it's a long way to the nomination. Could be a brokered convention or a third party break out.
time will tell.
