Herman Cain Announcement LIVE THREAD (Video Feed Link) [Suspending!]
HermanCain.com ^ | 12-03-2011

Posted on 12/03/2011 8:18:19 AM PST by montag813

Herman Cain is expected to make a "major announcement" today, anytime between 11am and 1pm EST in Atlanta. The media is assuming he will quit the race. Politico is positively glowing with anticipation of this. Will he fold, or FIGHT? He is also opening a new Atlanta HQ. Twitter reports that people are jamming in early to show their support.

We simply don't know what will happen, or when it will happen. What are your thoughts? Do you think he should quit? Or do you think Cain should stay in the race and deny the State-Run Media yet another GOP scalp on a platter - for unproven allegations -while they allow a vile rapist like Clinton, or commie cokehead like Obama breeze through unscathed?

HERE IS THE LIVE VIDEO FEED LINK: http://hermancain.com/livestream

Still an Idiot, I see.

You didn’t answer me about Newt. Since he’s your man now, what does he think about abortion?

Let me know immediately.

Politics was never fun. It has become the highway to power and wealth for most. This was never meant to be the case. And career politicians are the most unscrupulously dangerous of politicians.

A passion to help one’s country (or county or city or state) out of serious trouble is the right reason to run for office

If one has never served before he is not a politician. If he stays in office too long he is likely to become a corrupt politician. Term limits for Congress is imperataive.

All we can do now is vote the Democrats out of the Senate nd hope for the best.

Herman Cain was the cause of his own downfall. He knew he had all these women in his background, and should have self-vetted before taking the peoples’ money.

His brief run was very amusing and lent some life to the campaign, but in the long run, your idol had clay feet and a passion for women.

Either that or he was a black guy who dared oppose the democRat party.

Another gut check, eh onyx? First Sarah, now this. I admittedly became ABO after Sarah dropped out, but, this Cain business reeks of Jack Ryan, ala The Chicago Machine. Anybody But Obama. Stand strong onyx.

Yes June. Can you believe it? The GOP nominee will likely have been decided by then. Whatever happens is going to happen w/o me. My contribution is limited to what happens here at FR and I know the effect is likely nil (though I have opened the eyes of a few "former" Perry supporters) :-).

I can't even say which RINO I would rather have. In my opinion none can be trusted. Romney has flipped on every issue. Newt's pro-amnesty. Perry has built a career of pandering to ILLEGAL aliens and Santorum and Bachmann are in low single digits. Herman Cain was the closest I saw to get anyone resembling a conservative and he's now gone so we're likely get stuck with a RINO. (sigh)

Thank you for pinging grey_whiskers, and US Navy Vet. Sometimes (more often than not) I do forget the power of the ping. December 10th ping request. Thanks little jeremiah. May God's Hand move across America in a calming peace. Amen.

You have lots of good questions.

About Newt, yes he did boink a whole lot of ladies while he was Speaker of the House. He divorced wifey #1 while she was recovering from cancer surgery (yes, she is still alive.) Wifey #2...I don’t know much about. Neither does Newt, apparently, as he shoved her off when Callista came on the scene. Callista (sounds like an evil Roman wife) is purportedly the force behind Newt’s makeover as a devout Catholic.

But—this week Newt announced that he believes human life begins at implantation, while his Church teaches it begins at conception. BIG BOO_BOO, Newt! He will lose the prolife Catholic vote because of this.

I do not believe that Romney has any sex scandals in his background. His family life appears to be impeccable. (Just in case that is your standard for an endorsement.)

Yes, i have misgivings about Bachmann and her gazillion foster kids. They accepted government $$$$ to run what essentially was an orphanage. They accepted govt $$$$ in farm subsidies, too. So in that regard, she is not a total conservative.

Santorum passes the prolife, profamily test for me. I’m leaning towards him, as to where my campaign money will go now.

Obviously, when you started making stuff up about me supporting Gingrich you didn’t bother reading any of my posts, much less my tagline. And I’m the idiot? LOL...

You said it all and said it well.

I couldn’t believe that guy’s post.

There’s something about what benefit us if gain something but lose our soul.

We are in the process of doing just that.

"Hey troll, are you even aware that this is a PRO-LIFE forum?"

I'n fully aware and I'm just as pro life as you!

But which candidate is running strictly as pro-life?

Google my name. I'm as far from being a troll as you can imagine.

Perhaps my exaggeration was meant to bring forth this respnse.

I might have said 10th of 10 or such, but I wanted to make a point.

Without a country, nothing else matters.

If you wan't to eliminate abortions, first save America.

We are closer than you think to changing the thinking out there.
