Consider the enormous number of households who are affected by the current economic situation. The only real sectors which are exceptions are Government (on borrowed money) and the oil patch which is earning a living in spite of Obama. Folks in the oil patch know that this administration is searching for a way to shut their jobs down, especially in an election year.
Reminding them doesn't hurt.
