Do you know what needs to be done, if you want Obama and the Dems gone?
Posted on 12/02/2011 9:34:56 PM PST by Jonty30
What we need is a ready-made list of corrupt and dangerous and treasonous acts, with sources, that when we are talking to people.
Most people don't have a clue as to what the Dems have done, while in office. This ignorance is Obama's greatest election-weapon in getting re-elected.

Yep. I flew mainly Northwest (what was available). The whole industry has suffered, and even cut-rate fares won’t tempt me back, only an end to the ‘security theater’ of groping and confiscating will.

That is true, but I will still vote, and vote Republican.

Forget the person who is running, if he will protect our country by appointing the right people to SCOTUS! Just look at Obamas last appointments...sodaminor and kegal. Proof that you can NOT count on senators (with spines) to prevent a liberal from getting his liberal wet dream. Control of our country without firing a shot.
The next president will be able to appoint 2 or 3 justices and if his past shows the way of the future, we are done as a republic as the founders entrusted us with.
Forget the name or the hair cut, vote for the safest choices for SCOTUS. That nearly would be anyone but Obama.
Of those that remain, personally I could vote for anyone but Cain, Gingrich, Santorum, Bachman,.. but anyone other than Obama would protect our constitution by appointing conservatives. The first 4 would be good choices.
So work for your favorite, but remember at the end, nearly anyone would be better than obama. We will be changed forever if he is given the chance to appoint 2 or 3 more hard cases like the first two liberals.
Now most of us have already learned we did not need to even have obama. Had all conservatives voted for (yikes) McCain we would not be facing the danger we are in now. So play up to the last month, but on election day VOTE SCOTUS!
That means your vote is important when it is time to check the box, hang the chad, push the button, or flip the trigger... VOTE SCOTUS. Oh, and the dems know obama is the best choice the ever had to get ALL their liberal dreams. They are counting on you to pull a 2008 again and give them their dreams.
Possibly forever! Oh, read and remember my tag line. If obama gets in again it will be even worse.

What are the penalties for advocating, and the likely success of, a tax revolt - a general strike by the nations producers?
Wasn’t our nation started amidst tax revolt?

The problem is that most Americans now do not understand dictatorships and how they are formed..So many people think that couldn’t happen in America..They also do not understand economics and how the golden goose is killed through class warfare and the raiding of the government treasury for the benefit of the politicians. I do not think that will be corrected in a society as hedonistic as ours now is. It is hard to get up every day to realize what has happened to our nation and to know that socialism and communism have never worked to produce a good life for people in the entire history of mankind. It only produces poverty, misery and, God forbid, holocausts. The only thing any of us can do is to practice true morality in our own lives and to help the unfortunate whenever we can.

We need to fire up Conservatives - and that means to even vote AGAINST Obama- even if its Mitt.
Yes, I hear FReepers saying they won't vote if X is the candidate, but you will really let the MARXIST win another 4 years?

I have fought the fight for years and have yet to convert a democrat ... Yes, even if a lightbulb does flicker on, they quickly pull the plug because reality scares them more than blissful ignorance and unfounded rage.

I agree but more is needed. One canidate needs to step up and say he will take down all the corruption that has occurred. No one will do this. Any new POTUS will not touch the prior problems(directly). This unwritten code puts them all in the same boat. Need a regular “Joe” with a set. Not a rich kid politician who is only in it for the glory.

Every year, a few less people watch the news or read newspapers.Yes, but those same people are now getting their political opinions from Jon Stewart, David Letterman, "The View", and every sitcom and movie Hollywood cranks out.

And few, if any democrats are conservative, by the way. George W Bush was the last moderate democrat.

The Tea Party needs to re-acquire the passion it had in
2010 and primary the RINO GOP incumbants now. Get those establishment politicians scared for their lives. Then turn its fire on the Dems.

People don't have the straight stuff on lots of things. My republican sister in law (who voted for Perot) thinks the ACLU is a perfectly fine organization.

What we need is someone who'll tell the voters that the GOVERNMENT needs to be cut. We need to reduce taxes, and to give tax breaks to our entrepenuers - the job creators, not the big companies who ships jobs overseas. We need someone to tell AMERICANS that the GOVERNMENT can't do everything, that it is time for us to get to work.
Need a regular Joe with a set.
We need a political party that will give us what it says in the US CONSTITUTION. Yes, it might not say everything what the FEDERAL government should do... put at least we can give the states (the 50 states... not 57) their rights. And if a state wants to legalize gay marriage (or whatever) it should be up to the citizens of that state.

2012 will probably be the most consequential election since the Civil war. You're probably right. Depending on who wins, either 2012 will be the most consequential election since the Civil war, or 2012 will be the most consequential election since the first Civil war.

My state and my governor are the best in the whole country at what you listed as "cutting Dems off at the knees!"
So....you tell me why my state and my governor, who BTW is a candidate for POTUS, are constantly critisized and called RINOs by FReepers.
The same FReepers who whine that...
Their feelings are hurt because they were called "heartless."
Many have become defenders of adulterers.
FR ain't what it used to be!

Don’t know, I like Perry. Got some problems with his record here and there but I was 30 foot from the guy speaking here in Iowa a few months back and I love his attitude and his platform.
Have to admit comparing him to Gingrich that Perry’s record is a little better. Immigration is his biggest flaw and he’s no worse than Gingrich on that.
