I’m a Cain supporter. I cannot understand how people can buy the rumor/inuendo and condemn him. I just don’t understand that.

As far as how he handled it: First you guys want an outsider, a non politician, you get one and than you are down on him because he doesn’t respond like a politician, he responds like a regular non political type would. Some of you never wanted Cain but didnt’ want to be dubbed as racists. Some of you were fair weather supporters in lip service only. As soon as the road got bumpy..ya’ll caved like a cheap tent.

You say you want a conservative, a christian, a business savvy guy, a smart guy and you let the stupid media and same old gray haired GOP rhinos make you a laughing stock. Rove actually chuckled about the Cain demise on Fox the other night. Come on...are ya all as dumb as Rove thinks you are? Yeah..I guess it’s either that or you don’t believe in the principles that you have claimed day in and day out on this wonderful sight.

Herman Cain hasn’t changed! YOU have. You got jello-legged and Axelrod and Rove knew ya would..WHY? Because you fell for the same danged knee-jerk crapola and ended up with McCain LAST time.

Instead of kicking a good man while he’s down. Maybe..just maybe so called tea party people and the infamous “conservatives” should do some soul searching of their own. Which one of you are going to stand up, try your hardest and get attacked like this? Palin and Cain tried..heck you fair weather so-called christians are as luke warm as you can be.

Come to think of it..this country deserves just what it’s going to get. With obama..it will come fast..with newt and mitt..it will be a hair slower..but MUCH more painful. Why? Because Herman Cain did not change..YOU did.

Not all of us have changed, my FRiend :-) I'm standing right there beside you. And I know I'm not alone. In fact, I think we're mostly all still here. Some have jumped ship and they are very vocal about it. But of those I call friends, we remain adamantly opposed to the "borking" of another solid conservative.

Yes, we wanted an outsider in the guise of a Herman Cain but we also wanted someone that shows some FIGHT, that gets out ahead of the game and that hires COMPETENT campaign staff. I feel for your disappointment in watching your guy go down. I too had high hopes for his candidacy.

The media had little to do with Cain’s unraveling. I was highly skeptical of the first three women who came forth with flimsy evidence. They indeed may have been paid by the Obama campaign (Axelrod) but I still want to hear a rousing denial or a convincing explaination of this latest imbroglio. And I’m still waiting. The longer I wait the less I believe that candidate Cain is clean and pure and will survive this episode.

Perhaps next time a little less emotional attachment to your candidate and the let-down wont be as painful. Just a thought.

” First you guys want an outsider, a non politician, you get one and than you are down on him because he doesn’t respond like a politician, he responds like a regular non political type would. “

That just doesn't cut it; that's an excuse. The guy is a pastor and he has been writing checks and hanging out with a woman without his wife's knowledge.

Many people know of Billy Graham's rule of never even being alone with another woman; based on how it could appear. Cain didn't need to go that far; but he went way too far based on just what he has said himself.

Sorry, I know you supported the guy, and it stinks when the guy you supported gets washed out, but you need to stop.

MSM nor Axlerod took out Cain, nor did Obama, or anyone else.

CAIN took out CAIN.

Axelrod didn’t make Cain flub horribly softball policy questions. MSM didn’t make Cain come out and accuse others of playing “GOTCHA” when he was asked SOFTBALLS!.. Cain failed, pure and simple, because of Cain. Democrats didn’t put together Cain’s campaign staff, CAIN DID. Obama didn’t run Cain’s campaign incompetently CAIN DID.

Cain could not handle the basics, forget the allegations, his campaign ended independent of that, it ended by Cain’s own actions. You and HE need to stop blaming everyone else.

Zero experience in the political realm, or national poltiics and you decide you want to run for the most important political job on the planet and fail at it, that’s not exactly a suprise folks, that’s predictable. No one, EVER, has won the white house without prior political or military experience, that’s reality, and there is a REASON for that, and it has nothing to do with AXLEROD or MSM or OBAMA or the RNC or RINO’s.

Cain was not up to par, not remotely, and he got washed out for it. Thank God he got washed out for it, because honestly the GOP chances for the white house would have been over before the RNC Convention ended had he been the candidate.

I like the guy, but he needs to go actually get some experience in politics, win a election, accomplish something, build up a base and come back.. Cain was not ready for the majors in the least, and it was blindingly obvious... and it had nothing to do with whether or not he was keeping it in his pants.

Yes I totally agree. I dont know how some of these so called conservatives can so easily abandon a tea party candidate and jump on board with a beltway insider who is just another Republicrat.
