From his speeches and what the campaign is doing, it is looking like they’re going full steam ahead with the campaign. But we’ll see. If Cain drops, I’m dropping the GOP.

It takes a million dollars a week to run for President so I guess this depends on how his fund raising is going.

No matter how you rationalize it, its either GOP or nobama.
3rd party or sit it out, no different than voting the straight D.

We as free Americans will not have another chance!

I already left when they nominated McCain.

I have never been more disgusted with so many FReepers. I have lost many FRiendships over the absolute vile viciousness directed against Cain and his supporters, whether those people know it or not.

I’m not even going to bother voting for president. I live in CA, so I don’t get a voice anyway.

And everyone can save your “You support Obama” garbage, too.

“If Cain drops, I’m dropping the GOP.”

I am no advocate for the GOP, but why? Unless this was orchestrated ala Rove or Romney types, why be mad at the GOP if he drops? Just curious.

That seems a little drastic. Was Cain the only one you liked at all?

“If Cain drops, I’m dropping the GOP.”

Well thanks for dropping by. (member since 11/18/2011)

How are Cain’s problems the fault of “the GOP?”

Americans don’t elect rank amateurs president. They have always demanded some experience in getting elected to public office for their presidents. Why in the world would you think Cain was an exception? Victorious leadership in war is the only exception. And I am not talking about the Pizza Wars.

And why in the world would Cain think he can start at the top?

Uh, the lion's share of us here at FR have long ago dropped the GOP in preference for conservatism.
