What does surprise me is that everyone who is dropping their support for Cain for his possible affair is moving to Newt who definitely had one.

They are dropping because his campaign is floundering, not"because he had an affair." It still is not clear that he had an affair. She has no pics? She can't name time and place in the last 13 years? How come the press in all these appearances NEVER ASKS these obvious questions. Without her giving specifics, there is no way to prove an affair actually occurred. I communicate with women many times a day without telling my wife. So what? It's business and connections that one keeps up in his line of work. The only thing on him is that he (the guy with the rather large allowance because he's rich) gave her some money. That's it. Should he have told his wife? Yes.

Actually Newty had two that we know about. And I like your take on the irony.

I will not vote for a RINO under any circumstances. Might just as well vote for a Marxist demrat.

Tea Party Conservatives need to stick to their guns at this juncture. Even if Cain drops out we still have Bachmann and Santorum waiting in the wings. I’ll be damned if I’m gonna allow the RINO-led, Marxist demrat-controlled GOP pick my candidate. If I have to go the write-in route I will.

But let’s look ahead a bit and suppose a RINO runs on Pubbie ticket. I suspect a fairly large number of demrats will bail out on Onada—assuming he refuses to go away—and vote Newty.

Newty won’t need our votes to be elected. In principle we shouldn’t vote for the b****** anyway. But for the faint of heart denying Newty your vote will not result in Onada’s reelection. Therefore, Tea Party conservatives are free to vote their conscienses. The electioneering is far from over. It’s too early to know what the outcome will be. But right now it looks like the best of all worlds for conservatives will be the winning candidate—assuming he/she is not conservative—receiving 40% or less of the vote. At the same time real conservatives pick up seats in the House and the Senate. Maybe even assume the Senate majority.

In effect, this will nullify the RINO in the WH. It may very well break the RINO grip in the House and Senate as well. That’s not a bad world as I see it. It would be nicer to clear the decks of RINOs and their Marxist controllers in one step. But we may have to settle for two steps.

Have to remember it took us over 50 years to evolve to this bad place. Perhaps it is unrealistic to expect we can turn the ship around in one election cycle.

I also think that Cain’s candidacy—if he chooses to drop out—will have unforseeable effects that will be overall positive for conservatives. We are human, too.
