So if He sees what you are going to do, and cannot be wrong, you can’t do anything but that, can you? You can’t change your mind and Him not know it, can you? If He knew what Jeffrey Dahmer was going to do, why even breath life into him? Why let his victims suffer like they did?
I’m not your friend, but you knew that just as Ginger White knows her words are hollow.
It wouldn’t surprise me. :)
LOL!
Whoremonger, adulterer, family wrecker, player?
Yes, the texts could have added up as you suggest, but we don't know that.
Any way you parse these phone contacts, it doesn't quite pass the smell test IMHO.
And what about those middle of the night contacts? To me it indicates that the woman assumed a level of intimacy with a man that one would only have with a husband or brother - or someone she had had a sexual relationship with.
True, I believe completely in the concept of free will, I just don’t believe free will itself really exists. We have to believe we have it, in order to enact laws and form working societies.
Just the kind of person Cain should be associating with. Again, what does that say about him?
But like with Clinton, it's not the sex that I personally care about. I care that Cain has now gone on record to say the sex did not happen.
I don't think it can every be proven, one way or the other, without a blue dress. But if a Love Child appears (either from Ginger White or from anyone else) then that's proof. It's the possibility that he lied that bothers me.
And I don't consider him lying to have not told his wife about this woman or the financial support. I don't talk about every relationship I have with people, especially if I think it might cause unnecessary worry or suspicion on my spouse's part. Note I said unnecessary worry or suspicion — meaning, there is nothing to worry about, there is no affair going on, no reason to be upset, but human nature might cause a person to be suspicious merely because the other person is “your type” or is “attractive” or is “overly flirty” etc.
But if he had a sexual affair, then he lied to his wife and family, and he has now lied to all of us. That's a tough one.
So I am anxiously awaiting the outcome of this weekend, his pow-wow with his family, and anything Lin Wood comes up with over the next few weeks.
If true, then that’s the kind of person he is.
“It says, in no uncertain terms, that Rick Perry should be our next president.”
Yeah, just as soon as he climbs above 10% in the polls....
Sorry pal, Cain may soon join the ranks of the “Also Ran,” but Perry is standing at the door performing his duties as the delagation’s welcoming committee........
Perry could rebound....strange things do happen in politics, but usually not that strange! So I wouldn’t hold my breath.
My father gives money to all kinds of people without telling my mother. He’s a completely upstanding, generous Christian man. They are from an older generation.
So I am anxiously awaiting the outcome of this weekend, his pow-wow with his family, and anything Lin Wood comes up with over the next few weeks.
Agreed. If the allegations are true, there should be details that could be collaborated. Does White have nothing - no souvenirs, notes, ticket stubs, photos, hotel bills etc., of her alleged trips with Cain? Surely she could request old credit card statements (I have done that). Could her sister publicly verify that she took care of White's children while she flew off to be with Cain?
It makes one wonder if the MSM is holding off of giving Cain the Sarah Palin treatment because A: the damage has pretty much been done, and B: should Cain hold on, further details and confirmations can always be exploited later in the general should he gain the nomination.

Herman Cain campaign says they will be making a “major announcement” in Georgia tomorrow.

The Fat Lady is clearing her throat, and preparing to run some scales before the aria.
Wow, they talked 10 whole times?
And how many of those 200 messages were FROM Herman?
In the interview, Ginger, with the obvious help of the interviewer, make it clear that some Atlanta paper was going forward with the story whether she cooperated or not. One of her friends, whom she must have told, ‘leaked’ the story and it was coming out.
I find it very hard to believe there is no documentation to back up her story. Nothing? Really? No pictures? No receipts? (sorry) No unique physical features? Nothing?
That said, as someone who very much liked Mr. Cain, I don’t think Ginger can just be washed away. Mr. Cain is going to have a radically uncomfortable converstaion with the Mrs. My guess is his entire world is about to come undone. Very, very sad.
Not looking for a religious debate, and this may not be the correct answer to that age old question, but.....
I’ve told my boys as they were growing up and even now when they need reminding - Even though you have free will, God has a plan for you - so you can make bad choices and end up on the hard road, or you can make good choices and end up on the easier road - but bottom line is, you will end up where He wants you to be, it’s just how you get there that’s your choice.
That's commendable. I'm certain that as a Christian gentleman he also takes care to obey the biblical injunction to "be above reproach." That includes any behavior which would appear to be suspicious, such as hiding a 13-year relationship with a woman which involved money and middle-of-the-night calls/texts. "Upstanding" Christian men do not do such things.
The evangelist Billy Graham took great care not to be seen as having any kind of relationship with any woman other than his wife. He would certainly not travel alone with a woman, or even be seen privately with another woman. There was never a hint of scandal associated with him. Similarly, my godly childhood pastor would not counsel a woman alone in his office - the door was always cracked open and his secretary was right next door.
That is how godly Christian men behave, as I am sure your father would affirm.
Ever have an original thought?
