Newt has been very upfront about his personal mistakes. When he converted to Catholicism, if he made a good confession all of that was forgiven according to his faith. If we hear about any further transgressions - then that’s an issue.

Ah, but with Newt, there are many other things that confession won’t resolve, such as supporting global warming nonsense with Nancy Pelosi and several other decidedly liberal stances. Nevertheless, his private life was, maybe is, a mess. But it’s his liberal leanings that leave me cold.
