Herman isn’t as smart as he first appeared.

A man who can spend millions (of other people’s money) seeking the nomination without considering what a revalation like this can do isn’t smart enough to be president.

With this affair in his recent past, what made him think it wouldn’t surface?

Does he think all black cndidates are immune from background checks?

Did he think the media would cover for him?

Does he think he is Obama The Untouchable?

Did he forget he had this skeleton banging on the closet door to get out?

“Herman isn’t as smart as he first appeared.”

Herman never appeared smart.. desperation and projection by folks onto him was all he ever had, and that quickly fell away when he had to perform. Had such challenges faced another, we wouldn’t have the fool in the White House we do now, but the press gave him a pass, that will NEVER happen to a Republican candidate ever.

I understand we are all desperate for someone Reaganesque to show up, but its not going to happen in 2012, and pinning your hopes of it on an empty suit just because he says things you like to hear is foolish.

Reagan was a once in a lifetime president, I really doubt we will have anyone like him again in my lifetime. I would love to see someone better than Newt or Romney that has a shot at winning the White House, but reality is, these 2 are the only two people, and always were the only 2 people in this field who realistically could do the job. They may not do it the way I would prefer, but I know they can “do the job” not just sit in the chair and be run over by it, like the fool in the White House now.

Now, the question is, Newt or Romney, I know for me, of those two Newt wins hands down. I wish there was someone more conservative who could do the job running, but there isn’t, pure and simple.

Tea Party wants the White House, the need to be getting folks elected to office at lower levels and groom them to higher office, you aren’t going to just ordain someone to the White House out of the blue, can’t and won’t happen folks.
