If a US Citizen is captured or targeted in a declared Foreign War Zone, it’s just too bad if he gets a bullet in the head.

IF a US Citizen is OUTSIDE of that Zone, he is still entitled to all of the protections the Constitution provides, IMH, uninformed opinion.

Yemen and Pakistan ARE NOT DFWZ’s

First: if ANYONE is captured in a war zone, anywhere - it is a war crime to execute them without trial.

Second, I ask again, what is the proof necessary to allow the executive to order the preventive execution of a US Citzen, anywhere (or even foreigners for that matter)?

That's a gaping-hole you could drop a J-DAM through. I'm not aware of any formal process of designating a "foreign warzone". One morning we wake up to News of drone stikes in Yemen. Who declared that (besides the president)? Never did clear up the legality of the Libyan operation, either.
