You haven’t been reading very well then. He said this in his first teleconference, and then hooked onto the “reassess” word to explain how that didn’t mean he was considering dropping out, although he had also said he was considering dropping out in that transcript.

And he said so in the interview with Cavuto, although other things he said there were latched onto to claim he said he wasn’t. He’s said no way at a couple of campaign stops, but a campaign staffer said he was considering quitting, before another staffer said he wasn’t.

Cain needs to stick to some message, and it would be nice if the message was about the election, and not about women falsely accusing him, or the process of his campaign. It’s all distraction, and it’s allowed Gingrich of all people to become the leading candidate.

Cut the defensive nonsense.

I know you like to hang on to every Cain word, so I'm going to do the same with your words. This is what you said....

You have yet to document your using Cain's own words, his "jumping back and forth" between resigning and not resigning from his campaign.

As I said, this is the first I've seen him say that he may resign from the race.

I’m still somewhat flummoxed by the notion that Cain’s candidacy has pretty much ended due to revelations about affairs and sexual impropiety...and it has most benefitted Newt. The same guy who openly admits to multiple affairs and dalliances and treating his previous wives like dirt in many ways.

I don’t care for Paul Begala but he had a good line. He said that Romney has changed everything but his wife and his religion, and he’s losing to a guy who’s changed both of them.

The seeming indifference to Newt’s past is baffling. Reminds me of how Rudy has all this supoprt despite being pro choice. Eventually it all faded. Will it fade for Newt or do people truly not really mind it? I guess we’ll find out.
