What if Cain came clean, no details, about his having caused lots of pain to his saintly wife, but insisting won’t hurt his ability to be a good conservative president?
But what if there's nothing to "come clean" about? What if the whole thing is a propaganda show? Think about it. Should he lie, so people can forgive him for something he didn't do? How well would that set with a genuinely moral man? Indeed, if he tried to play along with it just to buy some fake forgiveness, I really would have no respect for him.
