I'm beginning to think the Dems REALLY FEAR Gingrich, because he has nothing to lose by telling it like it is.
Harkin is Old English for puffed up braggart loser.
Carter and his buddies were high-fiving each the night Reagan was nominated.
Gingrich self-destructed as Speaker and left office massively unpopular. It will be VERY easy to remind the public again of why he was so unpopular. Democrats have got to be ecstatic having this man as the GOP nominee. One reason why we can’t allow that to happen.
All right Iowa....I just gave you the slogan....now get to work!
Spin Translation: we dems are dam*ed worried about a Gingrich candidacy.
Harkin !!!!!!!!!!! Oh no!!!!! They’re bringing out the big guns. OMG OMG.. we give up.
Bull! They’re hoping for a Romney candidacy. Conservatives are too unpredictable and say things that scissor their arguments to bits and send them into paraxisms of shock.
Gingrich is not Reagan. Obama is not Carter. Even though he's worse than Carter, he isn't Carter. Totally different level of dynamics with Obama.
And the Obama team includes such genuine intellects./sarc
Lol!
“It will be VERY easy to remind the public again of why he was so unpopular”
He was “unpopular” because the Dem-Run MEdia MADE HIM to be. This time, he realizes exactly what he is up against.
What are they gonna do? Air his dirty laundry?
Remember how Reagan handled that?
I thought harkin’ was what Ye Olde Englishe did after a long night at Ye Olde Englishe Pub.
Rush brought this up today as well as the reason for wanting Herman Cain or at least one reason for wanting Herman Cain eliminated.
If that was the case, they would not be broadcasting it.
I don’t like Gingrich at all, but on the worst day of his life, he’ll still be around 100 IQ points above the Cretin-in-Chief.
Dream on, Harkin. Your boss is an idiot...and he proves it again each and every sorry day of his presidency.
It will be easier to equate Newt with the booming economy of the 1990s, lower taxes and a balanced budget.
American voters are optimists, not pessimists.
Gingrich winning the presidency will destroy the Democratic Party as much as Cain or Palin combined.
Newt will squash Obama in a landslide.
People these days don't look backwards, they look forwards to the future.
I'm sure they won't be cheering once Gingrich eats Obama's lunch in the debates, in the policy discussions, in his willingness to talk about Ayers and Wright and all the other left wing whackos that seem to comprise Obama's complete list of associates.
They won't be cheering when they realize that in terms of appealing to the electorate, Newt seems to have all his ducks lined up regarding his personal issues on his website, which will enable him to say force a focus on actual issues of policy.
The Gingrich I saw on Hannity last night was bright, knowledgeable, experienced, relaxed, confident, likeable and obviously eager to take the fight to Obama. By comparison, Obama, with his thin skin and lousy record, seems detached, irritable, smarmy and lost.
Personally, I don't think Obama has a chance against Gingrich in a general election.
Obama and his team have managed to misunderstand virtually every single issue they have faced since his election. So if they think that running against Gingrich will be something to cheer about, I'm sure they will prove as inept in the campaign as they have been since Obama's inauguration.
BTW, here is recent candid photo of Obama and Axelrod's reaction to Obama's latest poll numbers, economic numbers, and Gingrich's spike:
Harkin is not focused on the big picture. Newt is one who knows the big picture which is the world-wide effort of Communists to regroup after the fall of Soviet Communism and take up the torch. Newt, would extinguish that torch.
