My honest opinion on Cain’s responses are that he’s got no clue HOW to respond! I mean, if I were accused of things I didn’t do..and had never had to deal with it before, I’ve no clue what I’d do other than deny it.
I’ll give my mother/monster-in-law as an example. She makes up WILD things about me and tells my husband who says “I don’t know what to believe”. Pisses me off and I say, how about believe your wife?!! I have no idea what else to say as his mom is a habitual liar...and I think Cain is basically facing the same with these women.
Most of the posters who say Cain should handle it differently or “come cleam”, really want him to say :I did it”.
As for suing them, would any of the people who say that spend thousands of dollars to sue someone who has no money, no property and without the mental capacity to ever accumulate either one?
This is the same strategy used on Sarah Palin in Alaska..engage him in so many lawsuits that it drains both time and money to the point that it is not worth it and he quits.
It only works because so much the public is composed of gossips and fools.
As for Cain, if he were truly innocent of these accusations, I believe he would react differently. I.e. he would be more genuinely angry and vehement. My BS-detector goes off when I hear his denials -- his responses just strike me as unsteady and evasive.
And btw, I was not fooled by Clinton, even though he attempted to be forceful with his "Ah did not have sex with that woman" statement. I hope I am wrong about Cain.
