You have confirmed those numbers how? A poll that asks people if they're conservative or liberal is not going to find out how many people are conservative. A large portion of the Country thought Bush was "conservative" and think Carl Rove and Mitt Romney are "conservative".

I stand by my opinion that about 15% of Americans are conservative, about 15 % are liberal, and 70% have no real ideology but vote personality and promises.
