Romney’s strategy is to wait it out and hope that he remains on top - the beltway GOP selection. The MSM can only protect him for so long. He is their hopeful that will cause most of the conservative voters to either stay home or vote for an obscure candidate (their definition).
This time it is NOT going to work because enough of Americans (Conservatives and others) have become a bit more aware of the situation - thanks to the internet and Obama.
For Romney, it didn't work last time around either. He's been running for President all these years since and hasn't gained any ground at all.
