After Herman’s appearance on Cavuto, I sent the following email to his national campaign HQ:

Herman, As a supporter, I believe you would be Obama’s worst nightmare. On Cavuto, you said you’d assisted numerous folks with financial help over the years. Suggestion: Ask those others you’ve helped to come forward and say that in public. If they choose to remain anonymous, they could go before a judge and, under penalty of perjury, swear affidavits which you could then make public. That should be the end of THIS particular attack by Obama’s minions — until they concoct the next one.

The Machine (Chicago’s) wants the match up to be Obama v. Romney. They think they can win on the 99%/OWS theme.

Cui bono from these death by a thousand cuts accusations against Cain? Obama. The GOP loses. Imagine even if Cain isn’t the nominee having him working the black vote for you.

Now he’s no better than a hip-hop rapper. Black popular radio is all over this story and trust me it originates from Axlerod. It’s exactly David’s style. Smoke and smoke and smoke with half of it blow by media operatives like Stephanopoulos and the rest generated by the Machine.

Rush has nailed a lot of the truly suspicious aspects of Ms. White's credibility. He didn't even really drill down on the financial aspects, how she is currently unemployed, a single parent. The generosity of the Cain's [both he and his wife] to help this women has been rewarded as usual. No good deed goes unpunished.

Unfortunately, their helping her with her rent only gives some people more concern over Herman's credibility. Why would he give her any money?

But what is clear, despite the Cain's thinking of her as a friend, anyone that would maliciously presume he was guilty of the harassments that the allegations target against him, and then claim he would not be a 'good president' makes clear, she is an enemy. And she has apparently been given enough money from somewhere (and I doubt it was Fox News 5 in Atlanta) ...to burn her bridges of 'friendship' with the Cains.

I am still 100% behind Cain, since there is scant proof of anything inappropriate attributed to him. Scandal is the weapon of the left. But my wife says she has too many doubts now and she thinks that if none of this is true, then Cain needs to put his wife Gloria out in front explaining what she knows of this latest woman. She says if his wife stands up for him without looking like a victim, that would go a long way toward his putting this behind and moving forward. I hope Cain can get through this. I am praying for him.

It is thoughts along these lines that prevent me from abandoning support for Cain.

The media and the DNC have far too much to gain by destroying this man, for me to judge him based on such flimsy evidence.

What a difference a day makes. Yesterday Mark Steyn subbed for Rush and was calling Cain a ho humpin’ lyin’ immoral sumbeach who didn't have a chance to win the nomination.

Actually Steyn was bashing everybody except Mitt Romney and like the lyin’ Karl Rove denied he was for the RINO bastid.

Limbaugh and Levin are the only two pundits I really respect.

Glenn Beck is a Cain hater too.

That might help, but I frankly feel that only defamation law suits against the accusers will slow down this crap.

Sorry but he is “helping financially” too many women for me. No way do I believe his wife knew about all these “financial friendships”.

I don’t like Cain saying he did nothing wrong, if he did ever sleep with her. But if he chose to be private yet invasive, I could still support him, even if he slept with her foryears.

I’d like to hear him say something about causing pain in his marriage or some such. I do not want details. I want something to shut up the media no matter whom they find next.

And I’d like him to shed sunlight on the dank secret of attacking republicans while Dems get a pass every time. If they feel this chick is worthy of investigation, investigate the very believable Larry Sinclair. He’s articulate, with all details, names, receipts, etc.

Thanks for posting this. I missed Rush today and this is good stuff. Rush makes an excellent point I hadn’t considered. 60 texts total over a couple of months is not that much until we know how many texts each one of them sent. It’s possible she sent 50 of them. I’m broke. I need money. Please send me money. I’m being evicted, etc.

It’s just more of the same that was done to Palin. Amazing how Obama never seems to have had any real competition throughout his political career.

Somehow I missed US Rep. Rush’s son Huey Rich and his father both dying during a campaign.

I’m with you on Levin and Rush. The only ones I listen to. I wish Levin would go on some of these talk shows and skewer some libs.

Agreed. I lost a lot of respect for Steyn yesterday.

And, as a RABID talk radio listener, I have been turning the dial when the locals start their talk about the GOP nomination. They have mild delusions of Perry, and slam everyone else all while bemoaning the inevitiblity of Mitt. It's disgusting

Yeah, Steyn really turned me off yesterday.

I have always found that Rush and Mark Levin (with Hannity generally thrown in) have been the most supportive of female and black republican candidates. They are two smart guys with marshmallow hearts.

The whole thing reminds me of the old saying (paraphrased) 'If you help a starving dog and make him prosperous...he will not come back and bite you. That is the principle difference between a dog and a person' -M.Twain

There just seems to be too much fishy here to me. Why does this latest "lady" suddenly have one of the better lawyers in Georgia representing her when she can't pay her own rent? And what is he representing her for? She's not been charged with anything. Why can't she come up with more than a he-said-she-said after 13 years? She falls back on her many phone calls and texts as some sort of evidence that she is telling the truth when she was already been shown to be a boss stalker.

She keeps saying that she didn't just make this up - and that is probably true - she doesn't seem smart enough to me - but quite possibly somebody else made it up for her. (and she has that sad hurt look down to a science). I really hope they get to the bottom of this. I don't think Cain would stay in the race if he figured she have any real proof. (...they should just waterboard Rove and get to the bottom of this quick).
