WASHINGTON (AP) — An Atlanta businesswoman who has asserted she had a longstanding affair with Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain stood by her story Wednesday despite his denials, saying she was not proud to admit it.

"Our relationship was on and off for the last 13, 14 years," Ginger White said in a nationally broadcast interview. "This was not a consistent love affair that went on every day for the last 14 years, so he is correct when he made that statement."

But White also said she was "disappointed" that Cain had called her a "troubled Atlanta businesswoman."

Yet, I’ll bet you believe what you have heard and read about the alleged affairs that JFK had, even though revealed many years after he died and without substantiation.

You don’t know the 999 plan or the fair tax, and apparently you’ve done no research on any of Cain’s positions. Instead of asking us, do your own research!

I can’t imagine a man having a 13 year old affair and his wife never getting a whiff of it? A short affair maybe. But not a years-long affair. No way wife doesn’t know.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herman_cain has some information and useful links.

Also, you can go to www.google.com and search on “Herman Cain”.

“I really don’t know” is no way to go through life.

I guess Americans really are too dumb to vote.

This is not about fooling everybody. It is about marginal effects: just fooling enough people to doom Cain's candidacy. The Demonrats are afraid of Cain for the same reason. He would not end their domination of the black vote, but he would pull a few % away from them, thereby costing them marginal states. Romney, Gingrich, Perry et al. are not going to do that.

The Demons are ever conscious of what will keep them in power. In contrast, the Pubbie establishment dopes haven't a clue.

Actually, not only was it not a fiasco, it wasn’t about Libya.

The question he was asked was what did he think of obama’s efforts in Libya. And if I recall correctly, this was in the middle of his being questioned about Bush’s actions in the middle east.

Can’t blame him for taking a few seconds to toss things around while he got his thoughts straight. Especially since it was an interview with the written media, not supposed to be televised.

(Not that it makes any difference to those who wish to derail his campaign.)

They haven’t even tried to fabricate any proof. At least with GWB, they went through the effort of forging the National Guard documents. Here we get nothing. Nothing at all.

I don't text myself, but do people actually hang onto them?

It depends.

I have all the text messages I've sent and received, all tied to the various contacts on my phone.

HOWEVER, I did not realize that the default setting on my phone was to keep 200 messages, so older messages did roll off until I changed the settings.

If Cain were using texting to manage campaign logistics, I could see him easily rolling hundreds of older texts off of his phone, if he's sending routine texts like "Leaving the banquet now. Should be at the office in 20 minutes," or "Just arriving at the airport," or "Just landed. Taxiing to terminal."

On the other hand, those defaults are per conversation, so it's possible to keep texts for one person while rolling off texts to another.

Well. I am no authority. But my opinion is that instituting the sales tax while still having income tax is scary. Sure congress will agree to 9% income tax when they get another tax source. Because the next thing you know it we are fighting a battle where we have 9% sales tax AND 35% income tax. That does not scare you? You would be kidding yourselve if you deny this just because 999 sounds like a great idea and Cain is such a good man that he wouldn’t let that happen. C’on Man. Cain seems to be a novice and we do not need that, ever.

There is no time for a new president to 'get up to speed.'

So you are recommending we keep obama?

When two have lived that long together and the man becomes ill, the woman will hardly let him out of her sight.

I am old enough that I have seen this many times.

The mother instinct kicks in and the guy is virtually smothered with mothering.

I would bet money that during that period, he could not go out of the house without “Where are you going?” .....”When will you be back?” “Call me when you get there? “Call me when you start back home”.

And then she calls him every hour or so.

Been there, seen that and done that.

Individual texts can be deleted, as well as entire conversations.

Receiving a text can trigger a notification sound on your phone, if you have the sound turned on. Also, you have to have the phone on. If you turn the phone off, you will receive all the texts that came in overnight once you turn the phone on in the morning.
