The crap thrown at Cain are only rumors. The pattern of personal behavior alleged in those rumors in Newt are true. Women are not going to vote for him.
He's white, he's old, he's fat and he can't control his schlong. Women and the mushy middle might be able to overlook two of the four. A few might even be able to overlook three of the four. Too few will be able to overlook all four.
The presidential election is a beauty contest just as much as it is a brain contest.
I believe Newt is the most qualified individual to push Obama off the podium and restore America’s spirit. We don’t like Newt, we don’t quite trust him - but we can rest assured he will attempt to do what is right for America and the Constitution. Plus, he knows the treachery of Washington DC - where the bodies are buried and who buried them.
Disagree about women not voting for Newt. The most intelligent are not voting for a husband. The most realistic have experienced infidelity in their own lives or those of friends and family and understand redemption. The others are blaming the women who seduced a married man. Best of all - a man who admits to losing his way - is a cinch.

Uh, Chris Christie comes to mind...and Newt can lose weight. One thing he could do — pick a young, vibrant, highly qualified VP.

Looks to me like he’s pretty happily married these days. His wife seems to share his values, is even closely involved in promoting conservative principles right alongside him. She’s no run of the mill trophy wife.
Women who “hate” Newt are likely lost liberal women who would never vote for him anyway. I say forget trying to woo the libwoman vote. Thinking (i.e., conservative women) will come out to vote for him.
