Dayton, Ohio (CNN) – Embattled Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain is keeping mum on whether he will remain in the race for the GOP nomination.

When asked by CNN if he is vowing to continue his campaign, Cain declined to give a direct response.

"We are reassessing and reevaluating," Cain said.

Cain said he would have a final answer about his future plans soon.

"We will be making a decision in the next several days," Cain said.

If Cain said that, then I think Gingrich will be our nominee. Better than Romney, but not one of my favorites.

“We are reassessing and reevaluating,”

That is not good news.

The media will then turn to all of Gingrich’s skeletons and serial adultery. They pick off our candidates one by one.

Add what you would like Herman Cain to think about and do to this open letter:

If you have to think about it, the answer is to withdraw.

This article goes against the letter that Herman Cain himself sent to supporters last night. According to the letter he has only begun to fight for the Presidency.

This sounds completely opposite of his Facebook page, where he was saying he was not going to drop out, only consider other logistics of the campaign.

His campaign staff frankly seem inept. I love the guy and I still support him right now, but my support is really hanging by a thread.

Sucks. We need the FairTax.

He is OUT! Barring another Palin redux he will get it announced and not leave voters twisting in the wind for months, while polishing some damn cash for useage trademark.

Cain can’t say one thing one day and indicate some vaguery the next. Voters hated vague leaks, allusions and delusions in Palin and will have even less patience with it so soon after the second time around.

Because CNN would love to have him drop out.

Hell, the commies will not even allow a primary challenge against him.

I guess I don't see where these two short quotes, without knowing the precise questions asked or his complete answers, changes anything.

He may well have been talking about retaliation to these accusations.

Didn’t he just pay 10K to participate in the Nevada caucuses? Seems a chunk of change for a guy who doesn’t know if he’s even running. Doesn’t make sense.

I think he has to unleash Lin Wood to recover quickly. The latest woman is very visible and forthcoming about her allegations, there should be a legal remedy if she’s lying. And without a quick and solid defense against her...

No necisarily bad. He could be just using this to keep media interest to “launch” his campaign.

I though Cain’s campaign manager said Cain was not leaving the race, just yesterday.
