Wow, he really is a RINO. I didnt realize he was a registered Independent his whole life and “didn’t know a single Republican” in 1994.

Though he did his best to hide it, Poppy Bush never really shook his upper-crust attachment to pop control. Tsongas was calling him out as a fake, and he had a very good point indeed.

Institutionally, the GOP has been pro-eugenics and abortion for a long time — just not up front about it like the Democrats.

Daddy was a liberal in Republican clothing too. Like father, like son. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

I can’t prove it, but I am dead certain that Romney’s dad voted Democrat for President at least once (in 1964.)
