Best to watch out for your front hand when firing that thing. You are correct about that. In all the excitement, it would be relatively easy to cross the muzzle with your hand. I've shot a mini-Uzi, and a MAC 10 (with nothing more than a strap for a foregrip). Fun, but it didn't strike me as a particularly safe proposition.
I have a MasterPiece Arms Mini 9 (basically a MAC 11) and you really do have to watch out for where you put your hand. I am probably going to have to get a longer barrel extension. I don't even have the front strap, found it is best to hold the magazine.
