Civilization rose up, and now it is declining, morally, to what might be considered the “lowest common denominator,” or what might be considered the “historical norm.” Societies that have protected the weak from the strong have been exceptions.

Decades ago there were moral countries to stand up to the evils of Nazism; unfortunately, there may not be any moral nations today with the power to stop evil.
