bump.
It might not matter though. Even if this is false it has become ubundantly clear that the MSM will never cover the issues. It will be nothing but scandals and gaffes on the GOP side getting attention from them and ignored on Obama’s part.
Even if this woman is lying, the MSM won’t care. If she held a national prime time press conference annoucing she was paid by the Dems to make the allegations with audio/video recordings and a copy of the check, they would then totally ignore the story.
This is shaping up to be the most partisan MSM campaign in history.
As much as I hate to say it, the MSM has probably succeeded in assassinating the Cain campaign. He has awful advisors and PR people to boot, he isn’t a Reagan who has the personality to pull through (at least we haven’t seen it).
Then again they can easily do the same to Perry, Newt (how many affairs?) and the others. They want Romney as the GOP nominee because he is very beatable, even if the economy completely crashes he’d likely find a way to lose. (sort of like McCain who seemed to be campaigning for Obama half the time)
I was on another message board where someone had a list of suggestions for VP for Newt and Mitt. The person was suggesting mostly moderates, it was insane. It would be like trying to lose on purpose. Even the perfect VP candidate couldn’t save Mitt from himself.
For me.
I REFUSE to compromise my principles for any of these guys. If the GOP doesn’t give me a ticket that doesn’t make me puke, I ain’t voting. They don’t DESERVE our votes “just because”. The GOP establishment has shown us every way until Sunday that they have nothing but disdain for conservatives, why should we continue to give our votes to them??
As Mark Steyn said today, Reagan didn’t move to the middle, he moved the middle to him. (remember what I said about force of personality)
If the GOP really thinks they can win without conservative votes, and nominating Mittens is that, then let them try.
For me, I am hoping no one gets the delegates and for a floor fight at the convention. I want to see some real, or better, conservatives throw their hats in the race. Whether its DeMint, George Allen, Palin or anyone else. Any of them is better than Newt and Mitt, both of whom are imminently beatable.
Yup. Sadly, we ain't seen nothing yet. The statists are going "all in" for 2012, they don't want to give up the "gains" that they have made. IMO, the days of them waiting patiently while a GOP administration (no matter what type) is in place for a term or two is over. Their agenda is grinding at almost full force now and they don't want to have to back down, not one bit.
We will see the most blatant corruption, lying, cheating, etc. that one could imagine in a US campaign; of course the MSM will be glad to do whatever they need to further the "cause."
