After reports surfaced Tuesday morning that pizza magnate Herman Cain is reassessing his 2012 Republican presidential nomination bid, POLITICO obtained a statement from a Cain campaign spokesman regarding his candidates consideration of dropping out of the race.
Yes, the campaign spokesman said Tuesday when asked whether Cain would definitely remain in the race.
The clarification comes after the National Review Online released statements that Cain made in a conference call with campaign aides Tuesday morning. During the call, Cain made the following statements, We have to do an assessment as to whether or not this is going to create too much of a cloud, in some peoples minds, as to whether or not they would be able to support us going forth, Cain said.

His fundraising has most likely all but dried up. His campaign will starve for a lack of $$$
Good!
Now if we could just get hairboy and his other cult friend to drop out.
I hope he sticks around Jim. Im sticking with him if he does...
Methinks a conservative black has strayed too far from the plantation ! >PS
I will support him.
Who is hairboy?
Yessss!! (best Marv Albert voice)
Screw these gold diggers!!! GO CAIN!!!
Good. Bachmann is my favorite but I will vote for Cain in the Michigan primary because he’s the only one who can beat Mittens here.
Herman Cain is speaking at Hillsdale college tonight. Seems that he has followed Sarah Palin’s and Ronald Reagan’s lead and is treating us like real people. Mitt brushed us aside without a word on his way to the cash register.
Good!
Thank-you Mr. Cain! Ignore the troublemakers PLEASE!
Good news! Unlike those who seem to delight in nay-saying conservative presidential candidates and declaring them finished, I remain on the ‘Cain Train’ and believe that he’ll surmount these gutter attacks and even the disparagement he sometimes receives on conservative political websites such as FR.
Yes!!! The Iowa Campaign Head for Cain says he lost a few supporters in Iowa, but gained many more today. That is great news. I am so glad that it looks like he is staying in the race. Cain/Bachmann 2012!!!!
Shows all the right stuff to our nations leader.
Defying his attackers like this is what makes leaders of other nations look at him with respect instead of snickers and guffaws Obama gets.
Great news!

I wasn't planning on donating to him until he was the nominee, but I will definitely send him something if he stays in the race. I'll bet I'm not alone.
Mittens.
And more good news - check out the poll on the right side, scroll about halfway down on this web page:

From this website, which also has an article about Cain not dropping out, is this poll:
“Will Obama win re-election?”
Yes. 37.14% (40,051 votes)
No. 54.92% (59,228 votes)
Not sure. 7.94% (8,564 votes)
Total Votes: 107,843
I’m really happy with this development. Go, Mr. Cain, go!!
