You know how cute you are twisting the facts and tossing out apples and calling them oranges? Not very.

The border is sealed. The country decides what workers are necessary, how to give work permits, who applies for citizenship and where they get in line. But with the border sealed the flood of illegals coming in stops — and there will most likely be a flood going out.

I'm not trying to be cute - In the article you posted about the work visa program idea that Perry was pushing, he said you secure the border and then "put a program into place in which these individuals can be identified, and work visas in which they can move back and forth between their countries but not to become United States citizens

Now he is saying that he would deport these people. I'm glad he changed his mind, and regardless of whether it's flip-flopping, I'm wanting to see a Rick Perry that is a lot more hostile to illegal immigrants, and this is a start. I won't vote for him in the primaries, but if he somehow gets back into contention, I'd feel better about supporting him in the general.

Just to reiterate, I think it's wonderful that Perry now wants to deport all illegals. It's a shame that earlier today he got the national voting age wrong as well as the date of next year's election wrong, because that is going to overshadow his comments about deporting all illegals.

But you should be happy to know that I'm passing his comments about deporting illegals around to my friends and family.
