That is where we differ. I don’t think there is a human solution to this. We are past that point. I’ve repeatedly used the more detailed analogy that changing presidents is like changing captains on the titanic AFTER it hit the iceberg: You may get nuanced changes in how the lifeboats are manned, but the ship is still going down, and there are not nearly enough lifeboats. It will cause, uh, complications, as it becomes clear to everyone that there is no time left.
