Iranian protesters broke into the British embassy compound in Tehran, tearing down the flag and looting a portrait of The Queen.
British officials said they were urgently trying to establish whereabouts of staff and the scope of the threat unleashed by the breach.
Iranian hardliners had called for a demonstration against the embassy yesterday after the country adopted a law requiring the regime to throw out the British ambassador.
Reports from the scene said that security forces had failed to secure the site as dozens of students stormed the British Embassy, bringing down the union flag and throwing documents from windows.
The students clashed with anti-riot police and chanted "the Embassy of Britain should be taken over" and "death to England."
America lost its foothold in Tehran when students stormed the "den of spies" in 1979, triggering a 444 seize in which dozens of diplomats were held captive.

Brown is no longer PM, at least that is not the same.
Oh hell, that’s right. I’m sorry, normally I keep up with things better than that. I blame a lack of caffeine.

Oh I’ve seen that picture comparison of Ahmadic*sucker from ‘79 and recent years, but our all-knowing, all-wise feds in Washington have “assured” us, that it isn’t the same guy.
Like Hell it ain’t.

Australia..
I haven’t seen British verification, have you?
Accidents happen.
Isn’t it sad that the Iranians don’t have a OSHA to help prevent these accidents like in Syria and other puppet states of Iran.
Brings back bad memories of our country under Jimmy Carter and when he allowed the Iranian Islamofacists to take our embassy and become terrorists, world wide.
Yeah, I saw that. But I didn’t see anything about 6 hostages.
They are checking their whereabouts, I guess.
15.58 Iranian police have secured the release of six employees of the British embassy compound in northern Tehran who had been taken hostage by hardline students earlier in the day, the semi-official Fars news agency reported.
“Police freed the six people working for the British embassy in Qolhak garden,” Fars said.

Maybe some Brits should take over and burn the Iranian Embassy in London—Some Occupy Folks or Football Hooligans could do the job. England should show the world how to re-act—declare a state of war and begin to bomb the ports of Iran—Start with their Holy City and work up to their Industrial centers. The Iranians have been itching for a fight—lets see how they do against a real power for a change. England shouldn’t follow the Carter script but write their own. I wonder what the Shahs son is doing these days? Hear he had a TV or radio show. Maybe a little help could put him on the peacock thrown? Maybe England should give the Iranians some nuke weapons? Fly them in on the nose of a tomahawk.
Thanks
If I were him, I’d like stay outta the limelight for awhile.
(Reuters) - Hardline Iranian students broke into the British embassy compound in central Tehran for the second time on Tuesday, the semi-official Fars news agency reported.

Sadly, and I mean sadly Britain no longer has the will to fight as they should. If some hooligans (or anyone) attacked the Iranian Embassy, they would be denounced as Nazi youth, right wing nuts and fringe groups.
The left won Britain, and what was once a strong and proud society has become an unarmed, street camera shadow of it’s fornmer self.
