I strongly suggest you take Gene Eric's advice and stop taking yourself so seriously.
Always remember that we are only man and we are fundamentally flawed sinners. The big cheese understands that, after all, we are his creation.

Your dedication, loyalty and trust in God is the part one should always review. Hate is a powerful let-down in the end and it only drains energy from you, no one else.
I have been at war with the same type of battle for 20 years regarding my ex-wife, the battle (the battle within myself and my hatred) rages to this day, so don’t feel alone, just feel normal.

There is only a single solution, let it go and leave the heavy lifting with the guy who does it best:

“Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.”

That is a very powerful statement and you'd better believe it is true. After I learned to recognize it, I began to notice that the Lord dishes it out pretty well.
Let him work and you go serve… and stop being so hard on yourself. He will see you through it.
