Why? Isn't that exactly how an orchestrated conspiracy is supposed to work? Soros writes the checks, and needy floozies go public.
Of course, it's possible to over-orchestrate a conspiracy. Maybe this is a last gasp after Cain remained standing after the first wave. But without proper investigation, how do we know? If it's a smear there will be little or no evidence, and what there is will be unconvincing. If it's true, Cain better admit it and try to put it behind him.
This isn't a one-time incident 13 years ago. This is an on-going 13-year affair. If this allegation is true, there must be plenty of evidence out there phone records, flights, hotel stays, sightings in public, etc. If it isn't true, Cain should deny it, and we should accept his denial unless proper evidence is produced.
