I agree with you, but also agree with the others that he’s not good enough. And this is what I think will lead to Perry’s rehabilitation, now that Gingrich has adopted essentially the same immigration stance as Perry.

After all, the comment on having no heart was all it took to pick Perry off the top of the list at the time. If Gingrich can now adopt a limited amnesty position, then either he falls by the wayside, or Perry gets given a second chance.
