:’) Dropping a smallish asteroid would be much cleaner and more thorough, although it wouldn’t be fair to the Israelis. Either way, it should be dropped during the Hajj, preferably while those superstitious POSes are stoning the goat.

Sounds like a fair application for the kinetic energy of one of those tungsten "Rods from God" -- except I prefer the broader 'blessing' of an "umbrella" FAE -- or a thermonuke...
