We got a hell of a deal on it. Picked it up NIB for $295 plus tax.

A new local gun shop was running a promotion for Black Friday (and through Monday) and was selling all Ruger products for $3 over cost.

Funny thing is, I went in expecting to pay about $400 for an LCR because she has always felt more comfortable with revolvers. We handled and looked at everything. In the end, this one was her choice.

It appears to be a very well made weapon. The DAO trigger pull is very easy and smooth (as opposed to the horrible trigger on my KelTec P11). It comes standard with Hogue grips. Came with only 1 mag but also came with both a flat and pinky extender mag base.

The only real negative (to me) is the slide mounted safety. Who needs a safety on a DAO pistol? Besides, she's a south paw so there is no easy way she could work the stupid thing.

The only other negative is strictly personal choice. I don't like the thin single stack grip. I like a thick grip. But that's a moot point anyway because it's her gun and she likes it.

Unfortunately, we won't be able to provide a range report for probably a couple of weeks. I'm heading out of state tomorrow morning for business travel all week. Won't get home til Friday night and then Saturday is the 1st shotgun season here in Iowa.

Overall, I'm extremely pleased with the purchase. I believe they are running the special Ruger pricing through Monday. Let me know if you'd like me to forward their website link.

That is a great price!
I was going to ask about the DAO trigger. I see that it is 7lbs

I prefer SA/DA but DAO is fine IF it is a smooth pull.
