I like Sarah Palin and Duncan Hunter and both endorsed someone I opposed in my district’s congressional race.

No harm no foul, I just voted my way and put my guy in office.

Frankly I wish FReepers would stop playing this childish popularity game. I

Same thing here in Kansas. Palin went and endorsed the losing candidate for senate in the Republican primary in 2010.

He lost to another guy who actually had backed Palin and held a fundraiser for her and McCain in 2008. But Palin was swayed by Rove, Hannity and Levin who misguidedly went for the other guy.

No harm no foul as you said because the losing candidate traded places with the guy who replaced him in the House. He now runs the Kansas GOP.

So it happens, The guy who won the race is now in congress and is one of the few members of the senate tea party caucus.

Likewise the woman who was the best one in the House race in my district barely lost to a guy who is a bit all over the place. But in the end he has been more fiscally conservative than was expected. So he is better than the democrat who was there for years. But we shall see.

I’d like to know more as to why Arpaio will endorse Perry. especially in light of the heartless comments and not supporting a fence. Does this mean that the Sheriff is not for a fence? Who knows.
