LA City Councilman Bill Rosendahl will address Occupy LA at 11:00 am on Sunday Nov 27th - Marcy Winograd
Marcy Winograd, Ocean Park Neighborhood Association Board Member, just tweeted out the invitation 52 minutes ago. (Marcy, @marcywinograd, ran for Congress last year in CA-36). Rosendahl, we believe, is the FIRST AND MAYBE THE ONLY elected city representative to address Occupy Los Angeles in their encampment. Rosendahl will speak just hours before the planned midnight eviction.
On Wednesday Nov 23rd the Occupy LA leadership invited the city leaders to speak. During that same meeting Occupy Los Angeles Leader Mario Brito told Deputy Mayor Matt Szabo that the city eviction notice was “…tantamount to a declaration of war.” [ 6 minute mark here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IgmNcdFi72c ]

Has anyone gone on live stream to chat with these folks? It is amusing at how child like and naive they really are.
I asked some of them if they were hoping to recreate 1917 and they responded, “we are not trying to repeat history, no one wants it to be like 1917 again”
