Many Conservatives have threatened to stay home on Election Day if their guy or gal is not the nominee.

Lots of folks here said the same thing about John McCain (about whom I was first to start a thread on why he was unacceptable as the GOP nominee). Then he chose a conservative running mate and virtually everyone went and voted for him.

I won't be surprised if the second verse is the same as the first.

I’m thinking that Marco Rubio or Herman Cain (if Herman does not get the nomination himself)either one could be for our 2012 nominee what Sarah Palin was for McCain in 2008.
