Oh-and if compromising core conservative values is what it takes to “defeat” Obama, then who really won? The LEFT!

I don’t understand why people such as yourself panic at the normal things that occur during a primary.

RE :"
The big one now, however, is Immigration for which Newt is paying a high price for having the courage to be the only candidate, from any Party, to come up with a logical, workable solution to a very complex problem that has been ignored by the last five Presidents. Now we have a monster on our hands. People criticize him but, my question is what is your solution? Deport them all? Are you willing to help car pool 11 million of them back to Mexico? "
The last Republican POTUS ripped his party apart by publically stating he wanted to work with Dems on 'immigration reform' to Democrats benefit. Newt's logical, workable solution (abstract concept) sounds much like GWB/McCain/Pelosi immigration reform. "See you at the signing"
Yes, we dont want it so bad we put a Republican disaster in the WH.

I guess they don't want us to talk about his walk on the dark side of the Global Warming Hoax Agenda.

I think it’s premature for you to have such a defeatist attitude. The general election is over eleven months away, and the current POTUS is weak beyond belief in all the polls, even his own. Hillary would not fare much better if he did step aside (and he won’t), she is tied at the hip to Obama.
It’s very easy to be on the right of either one of them on illegal immigration, and I think they all are. There’s a very good chance the GOP will take the Senate and keep the House regardless of the nominee. The downticket candidates are being overlooked, there’s too many debates, and the GOP had better coalesce around somebody other than Romney by the end of the year.

Herman Cain's only major shortcoming is a lack of knowledge/background on foreign affairs. It is a problem which can easily be overcome by appointing somebody like John Bolton as Secretary of State.
The lack of character and/or a grounding in conservative principles in some of the other candidates is much harder to fix. I don't think I need to give examples.

I’m thinking that Marco Rubio or Herman Cain (if Herman does not get the nomination himself)either one could be for our 2012 nominee what Sarah Palin was for McCain in 2008.

Compromising on core values is a course set, that once it is set, it becomes much easier to do as time goes by until it is stopped.
To: GeronL
What’s your solution GeronL. Seriously, I’m open to hearing a viable, workable solution.

In that case, the safest thing to do is nominate Hillary.

e-verify.
Don’t them let work or get welfare.
E-verify already exists. The laws against illegals working and being on welfare already exist.
No new bureaucracies. No new laws needed.

Why don’t you do this stunt when FR is raising money? It helps JR.
I am opposed to all of these. I am issue driven.
