I’m not sure that’s the case. I’ve seen Honda Accords with speedometers going all the way to 160.

So does my Camry, but I doubt if it could be done with 4 cylinder showroom gear.

140+ in any car, let alone a Camry, gives a visual sensation sort of like going into warp on the Enterprise, lol, everything blurs into a tunnel, the lane markers are solid instead of broken lines. Wouldn’t take much to kill yourself and it would happen very quickly, the suspension on practically any basic stock Japanese sedan will feel taxed and the slightest pavement irregularity unsettles it. Not advisable. There are far better, more stable vehicles for doing such a thing. Better places to do it, too, such as not on a public roadway.
