All right, lets look at that one. Im getting tired of hearing it repeated like a mantra.
What is the existing law that says the illegal residents SHALL be deported without a hearing, en masse?
This comes across as just another excuse for not doing the right thing.
My standard reply to bring up existing laws as being a hinderance to solving this problem is as follows:
I guess we should stop fighting to overturn Roe vs. Wade, right?
or
When SCOTUS ruled for the Dred Scott decision, I guess we just should have let that stand, right?

I hate to break it to you but the Fourteenth Amendment is a lot more than an excuse for not doing the right thing.
Anyone facing deportation is going to want a hearing, and going to get one.
And he will not be faced with any “class-action” civil charges against him et 12-20M alia.
And there is no law anywhere that says he MUST be deported, even if found guilty.
