You know IF this did happen as described, I am guessing the buggies would be filled with freezer and refrigerator items. As to cause the most loss to WM. Melting ice cream would cause a mess as well as ruined merchandise.
I take it by the fact the comments you posted aren’t the ones at the source YouTube link that the ‘I stand with them’ commentary is your own?
Stores will now begin charging for the use of carts. $5 a cart, non refundable.
Occupy asshats would not want to part with that just for a protest. Even if it was someone else’s money.
One Wal-Mart where I’ve gone in the Chicago area had a manager or something who was getting paged every fifteen minutes or so every time I visited. The other one nearest to me, nary a peep. Don’t most department or higher Wal-Mart managers carry portable waist phones that they can be personally called on?
Unlikely. That would mean shoppers and employees all stood back and watched someone take over a cashier’s station to give their 5 minute speech?? Yeah.
The DUmmies have a long history of making absurd claims of shouting their slogans in grocery store lines and recieving applause and adulation and even claiming to convert conservatives this way.
It’s ridiculous of course, but the DUmmies never seem to catch on.

OWS lives in a delusional world where they think the real 99% support them. I can’t tell you how many times I have been in a public place in the past few months (bar, airport, restaurant, etc) where OWS was on the news on the TV and your average joe worker expressed complete disgust at these punks. They are nothing more than a bunch of spoiled brats who need to occupy a job.
They only stand for their own egos.
One thing I know, if anyone ever comes to me with a resume and I find out they were an ‘Occupy’ protestor, it will go right in File 13.

Many people love to hate Wal-Mart, and there have been stories about suppliers who claimed to sacrifice more than they bargained for when they entered into super size deals with Wal-Mart. (Though it’s hard for me to understand why they didn’t say no up front, based on cold economic calculations.) But in expensive socialist paradises like Hawaii, Wal-Mart (and Costco) with their ability to deal in volume have been the saviors of many a cash-strapped shopper. Don’t these OWS monsters care about the POOR poor? To whom Wal-Mart makes a great deal of difference?
So it’s the unions behind this. Walmart shoppers and employees are being fooled.
Aldi’s only charges a quarter for using the carts and you get it back when you return it. If you see a bunch in the parking lot, bring them back in and get quarter each.
I am astounded by the number of adults I run into around New England on a daily basis that act like twelve year olds...
I doubt anyone would put having been an Occupier on a resume looking for a job, but still... especially since this is getting into the winter, not the summer when people traditionally take vacations they are not expected to account for.
