The topic of Cain’s comment was abortion, and not raising kids.

He said that in the heat of the moment families could choose to do the illegal.

It is not likely that choosing to have mom raise their kids is illegal. Therefore, it was about abortion that he was speaking. That is what Michelle Bachmann thought he was speaking of. The same with Rick Santorum. Given that one is a congresswoman and the other a senator, it is not likely that they are ignorant people....partisan maybe, but not ignorant.

Cain had just finished making serious remarks about families needing to make their own choices in these matters...pro-choice.

It all boils down to me not trusting his pro-life position, and to my advising others not to trust his pro-life position.

And he is lost when it comes to foreign policy.

If I wanted slimes, smears and lies about conservatives, I’d go to DU. All your false claims about Cain have been rebutted [on FR] a hundred times, but you still make them. The stench is overwhelming. Cain is pro-life and anti-abortion. He has said so clearly and repeatedly. He has put a huge sum of his own $ into a pro-life/anti-abortion ad campaign. Yet you continue to slime him. It is sickening.

When all these lies (about Cain) first started propagating, I mistook you for a man of God. You have proven yourself instead to be a smear merchant. I don’t know how you live w yourself. I could not do it.

Cain tipped his pro-choice attitude when he refused to sign the Pro-Life pledge and then came up with a Rat like type explanation. More and more I'm convinced Cain is like Trump. A moderate playing at being conservative.

Going into the primaries I see 2 candidates that can beat Romney and obama, Perry & Gingrich. Gingrich has the edge right now and is the best at the debates. Perry has the much better conservative record and more executive experience. I know some of you like Gingrich. I like Perry.

Cain supporters are going to have to figure out which guy they like because Cain has been exposed as not really as conservative as originally advertised and clearly lacking a real understanding of the issues.
