What conceit you have, to think that you can crawl inside Saundra’s mind (it’s Saundra, not Sandra, get the name right) and know how she really feels about her own religion. Geez, the only prick she should kick against is you.

Nothing to do with conceit flaglady...rather confidence in the power and heart of the Almighty.. that He can and does go after His lost sheep and brings them back to His flock when they have been led astray...for he Truly cares for them and will be relentless at bringing them out of the thicket. He is not called “the hound of heaven” for nothing.
Most of those who have dealt with people caught in the darkness of false teachings and occults, yes, can identify when an individual is or not receptive to God’s leading them out...and the truth. Some are closer than others.
