Short sided? No, I don’t think so. Romney is the second to the last person that I would want to see President. The worst is the guy who’s in there now. The idea of not voting is the head in the sand approach to politics. The second most stupid idea is to vote for someone like Ron Paul as a third-party candidate. Both of these ideas will guarantee another 4 years for FUBO. Conservatives have made a great start with the House, but they have to take control away from the Troika of Idiots ( Boner, Can’ter, and McSleazy). The problem is that they didn’t, and now the House is going to be lambasted by the press for being “do nothing” ( which is far from the truth). The conservatives needed to not be back benchers and stand for something, but some of them have already capitulated ( in the name of “unity” or some such crap). I guess that this is what you mean by “willing to let the GOP go down he drain,” because the conservative voter certainly tried to do his job to elect them in 2010. You have to give the RATs credit. Politics to them is blood sport. They will do anything, and I do mean anything, to have their way. Sadly, conservatives don’t want to get down and dirty and that’s what they will have to do to succeed. I am tired of continuing to take “half a loaf” but “no bread at all” is not a viable alternative for me.

Or what? Do you think you can close your eyes, tap your special shoes, and say "there's no place like the White House" several times and "wish" Romney into the White House and Obama out? Why would you expect conservatives to vote for a liberal in sheep's clothing? 'Cause of the sheep's clothing?
Are you saying that just because Romney could capture somewhere between 26-29% of the general populace vote that it makes him a viable candidate? Really?
Did you know that if a football team loses 46-29, that it doesn't count anymore than if a football team loses 46-18 or 46-7? In all such cases, if you tossed in your "rooting vote" for the losing team, you lost -- and therefore wasted your "rooting vote."
