As for muslim friends, I will state without the slightest apology that I have none, nor do I wish to have any.
About 40 years ago, I had several, some quite close friends. The one who stands out in my mind was a surgeon. I am an engineer, sort of a kindred professional. We socialized for a number of years until the day that the conversation accidentally turned to religion and culture. Hamsa was his name and he had two children.
To say there was a dramatic Jekyl-Hyde transformation is an understatement. I left his huge luxurious house soon after and have never seen him again.
As for being uninformed, the best yardstick of cultural behavior is how you act, not what you say or how much Bullshit you can spout, or how serious a bluster you can raise.

An All-American Muslim couple in Buffalo NYthe wife had a great idea, start a network called Bridges TV that would show the positive side of Muslims and counter-effect the image we got after 9/11. It would be great to talk to this woman only she isnt around anymore.

Your argument is largely one of intimidation to which I needn’t respond. But just let me add that anyone can find numerous stories of evil within any social, religious, or ethnic group. I think it’s important to distinguish based on individual character.
