No, it’s not “nonsense”, look at Egypt. Recent history renders your premise moot.
Coptics and Islamists lived side by side, as long as the military kept the peace.
Bosnia, Chechnya, etc., etc. ad nauseum.
As soon as the islamists are unleashed from any constraints, history has shown that they are not willing to live in peace with those of other religions/faiths.
I’ve dealt with enough lying islamists to know that lying to us infidels is forgiven by their pagan gods.
True islamists have absolutely no reason to tell us the truth, none. In fact, they are obligated to lie to us in order to preserve the illusions of islam put forth.
For over 100 years, Muslims and Christians have lived together in peace here in the US.
Comparing us to Egypt is nonsense.
And don’t forget to list all the places where other - non-Muslim - religious groups have failed to live in peace. Most of my years growing up were spent living next door to a Muslim family. They were great neighbors and good people. That’s just one story.
I simply am not going to brand an entire religious group based on the insanity of some of its members. And I can’t think of a single well-known conservative leader who doesn’t agree with me.
